Ralph Lewis QC Cup runs for the third year

We are continuing our relationship with No5 Chambers with the Ralph Lewis QC Cup running for the third year in a row! The Ralph Lewis QC Cup was one of our premium shows of 2012, with 500 people in attendance at Aston Villa Holte suit to watch the bespoke event which featured Barristers boxing against solicitors in a great fundraising event that again raised in excess of £25,000 for Marie Curie. The Villa Holte suit has again been booked for July 5th.

This year's theme will feature No5 Chambers with support of the Legal community boxing against a team of city centre professionals. We are looking to increase our yield of first timers this year! Langford Locomotive roll’s on!

Personal Trainer Tom Langford moved to 2-0 with a comfortable, if not spectacular victory against Simone ‘Lucky’ Lucas. Unlike his professional debut where he looked spectacular, the Burundi born Nottingham spoiler Lucas was brought in to ensure Tom gained valuable rounds of experience. The unorthodox and erratic movement of Lucas led to spells of frustration for Langford who was foiled by grabbing, holding and use of the head when he gained any momentum. There where spells when Tom showed and started to unleash the kind of form that witnesses him storm to international glory as an amateur. The result was never in question and a frustrating night will have no doubt taught him valuable lessons on route to bigger and better honours. He is out again on December 16th, back at the HMV institute and looking to continue his impressive start to his pro career.
